These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of café interior planning services by Kaffee Raum Studio e.U. ("Provider", "we", "us"), Neubaugasse 31, 1070 Wien, Austria, to the client ("Client", "you"). By engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
We provide café interior planning services including counter and display planning, seating density studies, service path layouts, and related consultancy as described in our proposals and on our Services page. Deliverables typically include annotated floor plans in PDF format, furniture schedules, and contractor coordination notes.
All projects begin with a written proposal specifying scope, deliverables, timeline, and fee. Work commences upon written acceptance (email confirmation is sufficient) and receipt of any agreed deposit.
Fees are quoted in EUR and exclude Umsatzsteuer (VAT) unless stated otherwise. VAT at the applicable Austrian rate will be added to invoices for business clients. Payment terms are 14 days from invoice date unless otherwise agreed. Late payments accrue interest at the rate permitted under § 456 ABGB.
Published prices (€980, €2,900, €8,400, €130/h, €1,850, €5,200) are indicative; final fees are confirmed in the project proposal.
Each package includes the revision rounds specified in the proposal (typically two). Additional revision rounds are charged at €130/h consultancy rate with a minimum of one hour per round.
The Client shall provide accurate floor plans, site access for measurement, and timely feedback during revision rounds. Delays in Client input may extend delivery timelines without penalty to the Provider.
Upon full payment, the Client receives a licence to use deliverables for the specified project. We retain copyright in our planning methodology, templates, and pre-existing materials. Deliverables may not be resold or sublicensed without our written consent.
Our services are planning and advisory in nature. We do not execute construction or fit-out work. Liability is limited to direct damages caused by gross negligence or wilful misconduct, capped at the total fees paid for the relevant project. We are not liable for indirect damages, lost revenue, or costs arising from contractor interpretation of plans.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Austrian law.
Both parties agree to keep project details, floor plans, and business information confidential unless disclosure is required by law or agreed in writing.
The Client may cancel before work begins for a full refund of any deposit. After work has commenced, fees for completed work and committed resources are non-refundable. We may cancel if the Client fails to provide required materials within 60 days of request.
Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemic restrictions, or government orders affecting site access.
These Terms are governed by Austrian law. The courts of Vienna (Handelsgericht Wien for commercial disputes where applicable) have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protection provisions.
